Erica Cerra was born in Toronto, Canada on the 31st October 1979. The most well-known character she has played is the role of deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy show Eureka. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian origin. From the age of eight Cerra has been fascinated by her love in acting. She was in many commercials when she was a little girl. Her acting career was not as successful for a while. However, in 2001 she returned to the industry at 22 years old. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine named her among the top Vancouver's young actresses of 2005. Cerra played a role in Eureka as a Syfy show that aired between 2006 and 2012. The show featured her as Deputy Jo Lupo. In 2006, she also appeared in the video for the Michael Buble song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra had prominent roles on numerous well-known and highly respected TV programs, such as Battlestar Galactica. Also, she has appeared in major film releases such as Man About Town with Ben Affleck and Rebecca Romijn and Blade:Trinity with Wesley Snipes. Cerras's body and face was used as a reference to create her character Ashley Williams for the Mass Effect series of video games. Khondabi said that she got married to Joey Scribner Howard, her best friend from high school who is a mechanical engineering working in the energy sector. Khondabi said that Joey and she met in the classroom at Greenwood Christian School, and they became close friends for a number of years prior to beginning to meet when they were senior high school students. Howard was a student at Irmo where he graduated Dutch Fork High School. He and Khondabi had been friends for a number of years before they started dating. Khondabi, a 2007 Emerald High School graduate and graduated from Emerald High School in 2011 and is a University of South Carolina graduate with a degree in broadcast journalism. She studied sports management and entertainment. Joey also is also a USC grad. Liam is their pet. In elementary school, I did educational interviews on our school's news show. I also was the anchor for the school's daily headlines. The Oakland Elementary news program was called WOAK. Khondabi shared with us that when she finished university and moved to Augusta Georgia, WAGT was her first newscast on television. Khondabi told her that she worked in television news for around six years. Following Augusta my first assignment was as a journalist in the morning at WOWK Charleston West Virginia.
